ABOUT THE SUMMER PROGRAMS

About programs

Canto offers two online programs during the summer of 2021. Each session provides two weeks of intensive training for aspiring professional singers.

The goal of each program is to develop the qualities that are the hallmark of great performers: expressiveness through authentic musical styles, language, interpretation and acting. They will also deal with audition preparation, stage fright and the mental skills necessary to become a more confident performer.

Summer sessions include:

•    Individual coaching

•    Italian or French conversation class

•    Dramatic coaching

•    Classes in performance psychology

•    Diction classes in French, German, English, Czech and Russian

•    Masterclasses/small group performance classes

•    All singers will perform in our final concert  on August 22

•    All participants can attend the masterclasses of both sessions!

Both sessions are open for applications
