The Studio Track
Louisville: July 17 - August 6, 2023
The Studio track will be operating parallel to the Canto-Louisville Program for emerging professionals.
It can accommodate up to 8 young artists of significant potential who are either recent graduates or currently enrolled in a university or conservatory voice program. The Studio offers an intensive experience focused on languages, acting, style and role preparation.
Designed for young singers at the very beginning of their career, Canto is offering a substantially reduced price for the full 3 week program!
An intensive summer experience
The Canto Studio singers will participate in individual and group classes, designed especially for them, and work with the Canto Faculty to advance their audition and performance techniques and develop their personal artistry.
They will participate in French conversation classes, work on Italian and French diction, acting, audition preparation and the business aspects of being a singer.
Performance opportunities:
All participants will be performing in the production of The Tales of Hoffmann; an opportunity to discover the stage through a fully staged production, working with a stage director, a conductor and a coach. They will also participate in other Canto concerts.
