Hans Pieter Herman Master Class

Canto Programs Online is so happy to welcome baritone Hans Pieter Herman once again. Hans is a sought-after voice teacher, singer and cabaret performer. Described by The New York Times as "highly engaging," he is also an exceptional recitalist, as his Winterreise performance on January 12, 2020 in New York City demonstrated. The review described his performance as "directly communicative" and said "he embodied the narrating voice, with vivid expressions and modulated colors in his voice." Hans maintains an active private voice studio in his native Amsterdam in addition to his performing schedule of opera, musical theater and recitals.

It is only through the generosity of opera lovers such as you that Canto Vocal Programs can present performers and artist-teachers of the caliber of Ira Siff and Hans Pieter Herman. This year, our mission to train and develop future operatic performers has expanded into an online world because of the coronavirus, and we have discovered talent in unexpected places.
